Dark Chocolate Avocado Truffles

Serves: 10-12 truffles
  • 1 medium ripe avocado, pitted
  • 5 oz FlavaNatural Classic Chocoalte Bar or good quality dark chocolate bar
  • 2 FlavaMix packets or 2½ TBS unsweetened dark cocoa powder, divided
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  1. Peel and pit the avocado and set aside.
  2. Melt the chocolate. I do this in the microwave at 50% power at 30 second increments, stirring after every 30 seconds until smooth and melted.
  3. Add avocado, melted chocolate, salt and one FlavaMix packet or 1.5 TBS cocoa powder to a food processor.
  4. Mix until the avocado is completely blended into the chocolate.
  5. Chill the truffle mixture in the fridge for an hour or until mixture has stiffened up.
  6. Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, scoop out truffle mixture.
  7. Roll into balls with your hands.
  8. Fill a shallow bowl with one packet of FlavaMix or remaining cocoa powder.
  9. Roll each truffle until coated.
  10. Place on parchment paper.
  11. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
  12. Enjoy!
