Friday Food Finds- Alwheys Good Cookies Review

Happy Friday friends! I absolutely love trying new brands and flavors of cookies! It’s an added bonus when I find some that are actually good for you too! I recently came across Alwheys Good Cookies on Instagram and was very intrigued! This week I’m sharing my full review!

Alwheys Good cold pressed whey protein cookies are made in three delicious flavors: Vanilla Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Black & White and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip.

Alwheys Good is a mother-daughter company with a mission bigger than just baking. Alwheys Good bakes with a purpose by donating a portion of their profits to Spinal Cord Injury research and related charities. How awesome is that!

Alwheys Cookies are:

  • Undenatured, non–GMO whey protein from grass-fed, hormone-free cows can improve immune health.

  • Cold processed whey protein from raw milk only gets pasteurized once at the end of the production process, boosting maximum absorption and retention.

  • Cold processing retains crucial amino acids and nutrients for cellular growth and repair, and promotes glutathione levels.

  • One time pasteurization gives it a higher protein profile compared to most whey protein, which is pasteurized twice.

The macros vary depending on the flavor but roughly 190 calories, 7-8g fat, 23-25g carbohydrates, 8-10g protein per cookie. Each package contains 2 servings!

Let’s check out all the different flavors and what they have to offer!

Vanilla Chocolate Chip Cookie

You really can’t go wrong with a classic chocolate chip cookie or in this case, a Vanilla Chocolate Chip one! The vanilla chocolate chip is a giant, soft cookie just like you would get from a bakery! This was the first cookie that I tried and decided to make a homemade ice cream sandwich! I used my favorite Vanilla Maple Arctic Zero ice cream in between both cookies and froze for about 30 minutes! Talk about a tasty treat in this summer heat!

Chocolate Black and White Cookie

My absolute favorite was the Chocolate Black and White Cookie. Each bite is like a little piece of chocolatey heaven! I am a sucker for anything that contains white chocolate! The cookie was dotted with sweet, creamy white chocolate chips. My only critique is that I wish that there were more of them!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

The Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip protein cookie is a classic combination of creamy peanut butter, packed with rich semi-sweet chocolate chips. The cookie was super soft and had the perfect amount of sweetness. This one was amazing warmed up for a few seconds in the microwave!

All of the cookies are absolutely amazing when it comes to taste and texture! So if you are looking for a tasty, healthy, bakery fresh cookie, give Alwhey’s a try!

  2. COOKIES!!!!! A nice treat for many but as you know, I go to real cookies when I eat them BUT good in a pinch although I am lactose intolerant so many not work for me. 🙁

    • Hi Jody! I had no idea you were lactose intolerant- boo!! I know you enjoy the real deal and so do I sometimes, especially if it’s a good bakery cookie! xo
