Happy Friday friends! If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know how much I LOVE my nut butters. Today is not any different. This week I’m sharing a review for Bliss Nut Butters, a small company outside of Portland Oregon.
A little info on Bliss Nut Butters…
Bliss produces all-natural nut butters that are dairy free, gluten free and NON-GMO. Each jar is sweetened with local honey from the Pacific NW and seasoned with a hint of sea salt. There are no preservatives, no additives and their nut butters are packaged in glass jars that are recyclable, sustainable, and reusable. To top it all off, Bliss Nut Butters are produced with 100% wind energy.

All Natural Peanut Butter with Chia Seeds & Saigon Cinnamon
To create the Cinnamon Chia Seed Peanut Butter Bliss, they took their classic Peanut Butter Bliss, added chia seeds and saigon cinnamon. The first thing you will notice with this butter is the texture. I just loved the crunch from the chia seeds and the spiciness from the saigon cinnamon. I ate this with some apple cinnamon rice cakes and sliced gala apples!
All Natural Hazelnut Butter with Oregon Dried Cranberries
Bursting with a great texture and cranberry flavor, this did not disappoint! It’s tart, a little sweet, nutty and oh so good! So what to do with this nut butter? Make Hazelnut Cranberry bread! The recipe makes one large loaf but you could easily make these into mini loaves. My favorite way to eat this bread is smeared with a big spoonful of the hazelnut butter. Enjoy!
- 1 cup unsweetened cashew/almond milk blend
- 2 large eggs
- ⅔ cup coconut sugar
- ¾ cup All Natural Hazelnut Butter with Oregon Dried Cranberries
- 1 TBS baking powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1¾ cups Bob's Red Mill Organic Oat Flour
- ¼ cup low sugar Craisins(can substitute with fresh cranberries, roughly chopped)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Add milk, eggs,coconut sugar and bliss butter to a high speed blender or food processor.
- Blend until smooth.
- Add the dry ingredients.
- Blend until the flour is fully incorporated.
- Gently stir in the craisins.
- Pour batter into a 9X4 greased loaf pan or mini loaf pans.
- Bake for 50 minutes.
- Allow bread to cool completely before slicing.
- Serve with a generous smear of hazelnut butter!
All Natural Sunflower Seed Butter
I’m not typically a big Sunflower Seed Butter lover but the owner Daniell convinced me that I would not want to miss out on trying this one! This was definitely unique and very tasty! I made “Bliss Butter” cups with this flavor! I’ll share the recipe soon over on Instagram, so keep an eye out for it!
All Natural Cashew Butter
Made from only four ingredients; cashews, sunflower oil, organic raw honey and sea salt; the cashew butter is a standout in both taste and texture. I made some no-bake funfetti protein bars with the cashew butter! This is a “treat” that you can feel good about! Add this to your morning oatmeal, yogurt or just eat it by the spoonful! I’m a fan. All I can say!
