Happy Friday Friends! This week’s Friday Food Finds is a product review for Crazy Richard’s. It is no secret that I LOVE nut butter! The awesome team at Crazy Richard’s was kind enough to send me an assortment of products to try and review for this week’s Friday Food Finds. I wasted no time putting my nut butters to good use! Healthy never tasted so good!
Crazy Richard’s Natural Cashew Butter
This all-natural cashew butter is made from 100% dry roasted cashews with a dash of sunflower seed oil. No added sugar or salt, no hydrogenated or palm oils. My love of Fluffer Nutter sandwiches lead to me making a waffle sandwich using the cashew butter. Talk about perfection- the creaminess of the cashew butter melted in with the marshmallow fluff! Marriage made in heaven! The Cashew Butter is my top pick for this week’s Friday Food Finds!
Crazy Richard’s Natural Almond Butter
This 100% natural almond butter is made from 100% dry roasted almonds. No added salt or sugar, no hydrogenated or palm oils- just pure natural goodness. Since it was Easter, I decided to make my own almond butter eggs. I simply mixed about a half cup of the creamy almond butter with some peanut butter protein powder and dipped into some melted dark chocolate. I shared these with family on Easter. They had no idea this was a healthier version of a Peanut Butter egg only this was made with Almond Butter!
Crazy Richard’s Natural Creamy and Crunchy Peanut Butter
Made from 100% peanuts and nothing else! No hydrogenated oils, palm oils, trans fats, sugars or salt. Be careful upon opening the jar- the oil sits on top. Oil separation is normal. Do not pour out the oil as tempting as it might be. A few simple stirs and you will have the creamiest peanut butter ever. It was incredibly smooth. Check out this cool video from their website on how to stir your peanut butter. This peanut butter was made for drizzling over oatmeal and Greek yogurt. PB Burst- Performance Peanut Butter
I love these little packets! Perfect for travel and makes it super convenient to get your healthy fats in while on the go! This all natural PB has a burst of antioxidants and vitamins which make them perfect for pre-workout, hiking, biking or running. No caffeine, no salt and no sugar added! I have already put several packets to use with traveling the past week. I spread this on a banana for a quick afternoon work snack!
Pure PB and Pure PB +
Both contain no added salt or sugar and have 6 grams of protein per serving. No GMO’s, gluten free and vegan. The powders contain less than half the calories and fat of traditional peanut butter. If you’re wondering what powdered peanut butter is or never used it before, the powdered version essentially has had the oil pressed out of them, making them much lower in fat then most of their counterparts. The difference between the two powders is the Pure PB+ contains decaffeinated green tea extract, astaxanthin and B vitamins. Both are 100% natural. I love using powdered peanut butter in my greek yogurt, recipes in baking, as icing on protein pancakes and also in a warm bowl of oatmeal. I used the Pure PB+ as a topping for my Peanut Butter and Jelly B-Up bar and it was amazing! Look for future recipe creations using these PB powders!
