Friday Food Finds- Delighted By Dessert Hummus Review Part Two

Happy Friday friends! Be prepared to be delighted! Since I last shared my love of all things Dessert Hummus, they have amazed me again with releasing a new flavor – Vanilla Bean! Today, I’m sharing my review for this new flavor and Orange-Dreamsicle!

Delighted by Dessert Hummus is free from the top 8 allergens. No gluten, wheat, soy, dairy, eggs or nuts!

This is a dessert you can feel good about indulging in! Good for you ingredients + great flavors = guilt-free dessert hummus! These are amazing with apple slices, pretzel sticks, graham crackers, cookies or my favorite way, straight out of the container with a spoon!

Vanilla Bean

My choice of dippers with the Vanilla Bean was Nilla Wafers and Vanilla Wafer Cookies. Talk about going back to your childhood, both were my favorites growing up! I also couldn’t resist adding some white chocolate chips as a topper!

Vanilla Bean and Raspberry Stuffed French Toast- yes, please! I prepared my french toast and layered it with spoonfuls of the hummus and mashed fresh raspberries! Simple, yet so delicious! So, for your next breakfast, brunch, or brinner, I highly recommend trying this stuffed French toast!

Vanilla Bean Hummus: Garbanzo Beans, Water, Coconut Milk, Sesame Tahini, Coconut Sugar, Organic Turbinado Sugar, Vanilla Bean, Pure Vanilla Extract, Sea Salt.

Orange-Dreamsicle

Formerly known as Orange Ginger, this has been re-branded and is now called Orange-Dreamsicle. I continue to swoon over this flavor because it is deliciously different! It’s sweet, zingy from the ginger and a bit magical!

How about some Cranberry Orange-Dreamsicle Donuts!

Orange is cranberry’s soulmate. Like peanut butter is to jelly, cranberry and orange are absolute perfection together!

These are simple to make, nothing fancy and just a few basic ingredients. I followed the recipe on this Quick Bread Cranberry mix. Evenly distribute your batter in a nonstick donut pan. Bake for 12 minutes at 350 degrees. This makes 12 donuts. Allow your donuts to cool and frost them with the Orange-Dreamsicle Hummus and your favorite toppings! Delicious with a cup of coffee or tea on a leisurely weekend morning!

Orange Dreamsicle Hummus: Garbanzo Beans, Water, Organic Turbinado Sugar, Coconut Milk, Pure Orange Extract, Fresh Ground Ginger, Sea Salt.

So grab a spoon or some graham crackers and start scooping, spreading and dipping! Are you ready to dig in?

In addition to Vanilla and Orange-Dreamsicle, the dessert hummus comes in 3 other unique and addictive flavors: Snickerdoodle, Chocolate Chip and Brownie Batter!

  1. Oh my, those flavors! I’m partial to the Vanilla Bean (love your white chocolate addition, of course 😀 ). I hope they expand their distribution to more stores – such a great company and products! Thanks again for the reviews. What I’ve been delighted by lately = high energy and Ample Hills treats, haha. Favorite way to enjoy hummus = on top of roasted sweet potato rounds (I especially like caramelized onion hummus).

    HAPPY FRIDAY!!! XO

    • Hey Liz! I knew you would love that extra touch with the white chocolate chips! They have begun to expand into other grocery chains but hope they make it your way soon! I’ve been experimenting with my own hummus recipes. I love the sound of caramelized onion hummus with sweet potatoes! YUM!!! XO
