Talk about getting both your cookie and nut butter all in one fix! This week I’m sharing my review for the limited edition holiday flavors of Blindspot Nut Butters. Grab your spoon and get ready to dig in!
I’ve always had a warm spot in my heart for this company. Not only were they local to me, but I’ve also had the opportunity to try their nut butters before. I absolutely love this year’s holiday cookie theme! You simply cannot go wrong with classic flavors like; Oatmeal Raisin, Short Bread and Ginger Bread! Is your mouth watering yet? Well, it should be!
Let’s get to tasting!
Ginger Bread Cookie
I love how the gingerbread flavors(cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and ginger) are infused into this thick, yet very spooneable mixed nut butter blend. There is just something so magically addictive about the spices and the sweet flavor of molasses in this blend. Ginger Bread Cookie is great for topping literally everything from pancakes, oatmeal, yogurt and even as an icing for donuts. Skip the milk and cookies! Santa called and said he would like a plate of Ginger Bread donuts by the tree this year. Keep an eye out for this recipe! I promise to share it sometime next week!
When I asked Jeanean the owner to share what her favorite holiday flavor was this year, she was pretty quick to mention the Oatmeal Raisin. Talk about getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar, the Oatmeal Raisin is SO addicting! This took me straight back to my childhood, sneaking a warm oatmeal raisin cookie out of my nana’s oven. I could not stop digging my spoon or finger into the jar! Have you ever made an oatmeal raisin waffle before? Me either! Try adding a spoonful to your waffle batter and an even larger scoopful to the top of your finished waffle. Such a game changer! I personally and selfishly believe this flavor should be available all year long!
Short Bread Cookie
This 3-ingredient nut butter is a creamy blend of walnuts and cashews with some sweetness added from raw cane sugar. I’ve never been one to partake or even bake short bread cookies at the holidays; so I wasn’t quite sure how I would feel about this one. Sure enough, Blindspot nailed the flavor 100%. This actually tastes like a short bread cookie but so much better since it’s in nut butter form! I couldn’t resist using this in a short bread inspired dessert hummus. No worries, I will share this one soon too!
Treat yourself or the foodies in your life to the Holiday Oven Box! This has all 3 of the yummy holiday flavors in one cute giftable box! Individually, they would also make such sweet stocking stuffers too!
Blindspot also just released another holiday flavor called Mischievous Elf. After reading the product description, I understand the reasoning behind the name. This is truly your Christmas candy dish blended into peanut butter; M&Ms, white yogurt covered pretzels, non pariels and smooth peppermint chunks. YES, please!
