Friday Food Finds – The Invisible Chef Review

Happy Friday friends! This summer I discovered a company called The Invisible Chef. I first came across their products at Home Goods! The company was kind enough to send me some of their fall flavored mixes to try! Be prepared to be delighted with some tasty fall treats this week!

The Invisible Chef is a baking mix company who has a line of incredibly tasty mixes for pancakes and waffles, scones, cakes and more. They use only high quality natural ingredients. Their mixes are super easy to prepare; most require one or two fresh ingredients. In a matter of minutes you have a semi-homemade tasty treat!

All of the baking mixes are the perfect foundation for you to build upon. Add in dried fruits, nuts, chocolate chips or any other ingredient to make your mix extraordinary.

Let’s Get Baking!

Pumpkin Pancake and Waffle Mix

Who else is excited for fall and everything pumpkin? I eat pumpkin flavored treats all year long! I decided to make a pumpkin “wafflewich”  for breakfast! The savory from the bacon and eggs along with the sweetness of the pumpkin waffles and maple syrup, this was pure bliss! Keep an eye out for some yummy stacks of pumpkin pancakes on my Instagram feed!

Pumpkin Cinnamon Chip Scones

Perfect for a fall morning with a cup of coffee, these golden-orange scones are packed with pumpkin flavor and cinnamon chips! They’re incredibly tender and moist, almost like pumpkin bread in scone form. I made a vanilla protein drizzle for the top; just simply vanilla protein powder and some unsweetened almond milk.

Apple Spice Cake

You will love everything about this bread! From how quickly it comes together, to the smell it makes while it’s baking. This is the perfect fall treat! I made a few simple changes to the instructions. I used coconut oil instead of butter and added some extra chopped apples to the batter! The cake was so flavorful and looked so professional.

Chai Latte Cupcakes

Although it isn’t specifically a fall flavor, Chai is one of my favorite flavors this time of year. This kit came with the cupcake mix and the frosting mix. All you need is butter, eggs and milk. The cupcakes have a subtle Chai flavor. To be honest, I thought they tasted more like salted caramel. Overall, very tasty! My frosting didn’t turn out exactly like the picture on the box. It ended up being more like a glaze, but still very amazing!

  1. LOVE LOVE LOVE your creations with these baking mixes! Never heard of the company before. And hey, the salted caramel vibe is right up my alley (I’m not a chai fan, haha 😀 ). I’m so ready for fall flavors – my favorite time of year. Bring on the pumpkin & cinnamon. Happy Friday, Wendy! Hope you have a restful weekend ahead xo

    • Good morning Liz! Thank you a bunch! These were so easy to use and make such fantastic gifts for the foodie in your life. Or even if you just want something quick and easy for a party! xo

    • I had such a tough time not eating all of the bread! I froze the scones right away for the same reason! We are definitely bread lovers! xo
