Friday Food Finds – KNOW Foods Review

Happy Friday friends! In search for a gluten free, healthy, no grain alternative to bread? Look no further! Today I’m sharing my review for KNOW Foods.

I came across this “new to me” company a few weeks ago after a friend posted about them on Facebook. Know Foods has an array of products like cookies, donuts, muffins, waffles and bread. After researching their website, I decided to order the bread, donuts and muffins. They ship using USPS Priority Mail so you will receive your order within 1-3 business days after it has shipped.

All of my products arrived super fresh! Since none of the products contain preservatives, they recommend you keep them refigerated or frozen if you do not expect to consume them within 2-3 days of delivery.

Know Better Bread

I couldn’t wait to take a bite of my grilled turkey, swiss cheese and apple sandwich. Although this bread is a bit more dense than I expected, it toasted up perfectly! I’ve tried other “gluten-free” breads before and most taste like cardboard. This bread tastes amazing and is so soft! I’m thinking this would also make some fantastic french toast! Definitely worth looking into if you love bread but grains don’t love you back.

Know Better Bread- Donuts

Skip the Krispy Creme and satisfy your craving with this protein packed donut! Each donut has 12 grams of protein! These are very dense but very moist! Not overly sweet either! Tasty enough to eat on their own or add your favorite toppings. I topped mine with a cinnamon protein icing and some rainbow sprinkles! The possibilties are endless!

Nutrional Profile: Per donut: 200 calories, 12g protein, 11g fat, 22g carbs, 8g fiber.

Know Better Muffins

The muffins are delicious! They’re the perfect snack for when you want just a bite of something sweet. The muffins are a good size. Not huge but at the same time not too small. I ate mine in two bites. These are great for breakfast or a snack anytime!

Nutritional Profile: 1 muffin: 67 calories, 3g protein, 4g fat, 8g carbs, 3g fiber.

Every single item was delicious and SO moist. There is no strange after taste or texture issues. I will be trying the rest of their products for sure. Hooked!

  1. Okay, ALL of these Know Foods products sound amazing! Wowza! Thank you for yet again introducing me to another fun food product company. I follow a gluten-free lifestyle because gluten was causing me to have Crohn’s flare-ups. Under my gastroenterologist’s and general practitioner’s advisement, I cut out gluten almost 2 years ago and now my Crohn’s is back in remission and inflammation/flare-ups are under control. There’s my TMI answer of the day 😉 Happy Friday, dear Wendy! xo

    • Happy Friday Liz! Never too much TMI when it comes to being friends! Glad to hear that cutting out gluten was the solution for you! So many I know have struggled narrowing it down! I loved everything I tried! Next up is the waffles, cupcakes and the better bars! Have a wonderful weekend! xoxo

      • I’m definitely going to place an order after you do more of the reviews. I ordered The Greater Knead bagels FINALLY (I know, I’m crazy that I haven’t tried them yet) since you recommended them – my order should be shipping sometime this upcoming new week 🙂

        • I’ll definitely keep you posted as I try more of the goodies! I’m really anxious to try the waffles! Please let me know what you think of the Greater Knead bagels!

  2. I wish they were in stores near me – I am not an online order person especially for food but they all look amazing – although it is more a Whole 30 type make up & I prefer lower fat even though this is good fat. Although they look worth the try with good fiber & protein! 🙂

    • Hi Jody! I wish they sold them near me too! I was quite impressed with the ingredient list. Yes, I agree, definitely higher in fat then normal for me but with some of my issues going on right now, gluten and grain free seem to be the way to go! I hope they expand their stores soon! xo
