Friday Food Finds – Quest Protein Cookie Review

Happy Friday friends! Quest Nutrition recently launched three new flavors of their Quest Protein Cookie line through its insider group Quest Labs. I bought a few of each flavor since I loved the original Chocolate Chip Cookie so much! Today, I’m sharing my full review for the new flavors!

Let’s get to tasting!

Double Chocolate Chunk

Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate! The Double Chocolate Chunk has a rich chocolate fudge taste with lots of chocolate chip chunks throughout the cookie. Each soft and tender bite was spot on for texture and sweetness. The cookie is fairly large too! And yes, you can eat the whole darn cookie! Each package is one serving compared to the competitors which are typically 2. My favorite way to enjoy this was heated in the microwave for 10 seconds so that the chocolate chips melt right into the cookie. I’ll definitely be revisiting the store to buy a full box!

Nutritional Facts: 220 calories, 15g fat, 16g carbohydrates, 13g protein and 8g fiber.

White Chocolate Macadamia

The White Chocolate Macadamia was dotted with plenty of sweet, creamy white chocolate chips and some chopped macadamias. The cookie itself has a sweet smell(almost reminicent of a sugar cookie) with subtle hints of nuttiness. The macadamia flavor didn’t come across too strongly which is fine with me since I’m a much bigger fan of white chocolate. These are so tasty you’l forget they’re healthy.

Nutritional Facts: 220 calories, 15g fat, 16g carbohydrates, 13g protein and 9g fiber.

Oatmeal Raisin

I love a good oatmeal cookie but for me, its all about the raisins! Quest nailed the Oatmeal Raisin flavor along with making sure there was a good ratio of raisins. Appearance wise, this did not wow me. I feel this cookie would benefit from some sort of vanilla or cinnamon protein drizzle similar to that of the Beyond Cereal Cinnamon Roll Bar. This cookie is also much smaller in comparison to the other flavors with roughly the same macronutrient profile. Unless Quest makes some changes with the nutrition and appearance, I would most likely skip purchasing this flavor again.

Nutritional Facts: 210 calories, 12g fat, 20g carbohydrates, 13g protein and 10g fiber.QUEST PROTEIN COOKIE, OATMEAL RAISIN, FRIDAY FOOD FINDS, PRODUCT REVIEW

Out of the four flavors I’ve now tried, the Chocolate Chip is still my favorite followed by Double Chocolate Chunk, White Chocolate Macadamia and Oatmeal Raisin.

You can now purchase all of the new Quest Protein Cookie flavors through the brand’s members only Quest Labs.

Each cookie is $2.59 per package! However, it’s definitely much cheaper to purchase a box of 8 for $18.99.

  1. So the cookies are actually soft?! I just might be tempted to try them (minus the oatmeal one, as per your trusted recommendation). Obviously I’d be all over the White Chocolate Macadamia flavor, as long as it’s not chewy/hard – needs to be soft 🙂 Thank you for another awesome review! Happy Friday! xo
